Weekend Rewind

Howdy! Time for weekend rewind.


Friday
Nothing much happened on Friday, woke up early, went to work. Knock off, go home, supervise training for Swaveboard.


Saturday
Woke up early in the morning and got down to Big Splash. There is an event, Flea-A-Lot, not sure if anyone knew of it at all. We rented a space to sell our boards, just trying our luck. So, I went down with Teng Da. The minute we saw the actual space that were given to us, we were stunned. The allocated space is so small that it wouldn't fit for a study table for my kids...if I have one. So we discussed if we should abandon it. I said we should give it a try. So he dropped off the boards with me and he left (because he had elsewhere to go).


So I was left alone...setting up the mini space and the weather doesn't look too good. And sure enough, it rained after 20 minutes. I immediately gathered everything and went to the shelter.


I got so bored, I snapped a few shots.






About 45 minutes later, it stopped. Everyone went back to their space and resumed setting up.


Charmaine, Jade & Angeline turned up shortly after and although I know them briefly. We seemed to hit it off quite well, I made that assumption because they can't stop commenting on my "Chicken Head".


Then at afternoon, it got so damn hot, my skin began to burn and changed colour. The human traffic was so-so. So out of boredom, I took somemore shots.







If your eyes are sharp enough, you will probably see how big the space were.


Due to an unfortunate event and low human traffic, I closed down the space early and left for the hospital.


Things here on are nothing to shout about, so I will end here for that day.


Sunday
Went to Wesley's crib for his little gathering party. He is soon to be enlisted to NS. So we probably won't be seeing him so often. Anyway, we had a little fun, chilling out and trash talking.


One incident that surprised most of us were that he was told by his girlfriend he is getting an Audi TT for his birthday present. When we first heard that, we were like "WHAT THE FUCK?!" Audi TT?! Are you shitting me?" With much anticipation, we looked forward to the car and then we realized it was a car...made of cardboxes. =.=!!


I was quite certain Wesley felt disappointed at that moment, but given the amount of effort his friends did, he gladly accepted it.


Today
Half-day at work! Kudos to that. Because it's half day, I finally managed to collect my voucher that I won the other day playing that Wii game. I came in 3rd, so I received a $40 voucher.




And something unfortunate to me which could be amusing to you happened after I got off from work today. While my colleagues and I were walking towards the MRT station, we saw a car travelling at 80 - 90KM/h...and before we could react, a tiny tidal wave came splashing towards us. There were nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Damn! If that car were to only slowed down for another second, I will have seen his license plate number. CURSES!!!!
