Plain Amusements

Have you ever get those phone calls that tells you a whole lot of information and then at the end of the day, ask you the golden question and after you answer, they will give you the most teeth-grinding reply.

I received a call earlier that gives me that same feeling and it goes like this:

Caller: "Hi, is this Mr Tsang?"
Me: "Yes."
Caller: "This is XXX company calling, there is an event......(blah blah blah)...."

...then the golden question.

Caller: "May I know how old are you?"
Me: "I'm 22 this year."
Caller: "Oh, I'm so sorry sir. This is meant by the age group above 30. Thank you for your time."
Me: "It's okay."

*Clicks*

So over the past 5 minutes, I was fed with information that attracts me and in the end, only to get a '5 minutes of emptiness.'

She should have just asked me for my age before going on and on. But no...she wants to capture your attention with the lucrative offers and infos and then throw you out again.

I am not mad, actually. I just find it amusing.
